Job Title:                    Custom Solutions Analyst

Classification:           Full-Time, Exempt, At-Will

Reports to:                Chief of Staff

Department:               Operations

Location:                    Remote: California, Colorado, Arizona, Oregon, Hawaii, Florida, Tennessee, Nevada or Oklahoma  

Location Status:       Work will be primarily performed remotely from home office. Employee will be required to utilize personal phone and internet services to perform telecommuting with reimbursement according to Race’s Telecommuting policy. Occasional travel to and work from other Race offices or off-site locations may be required.

Summary:

The Strategic Data Analyst supports data-driven decision-making across the organization by extracting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to inform high-impact business strategies. This role partners with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate trends, and develop predictive models that drive operational efficiency and strategic planning. The analyst is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights through clear reporting, dashboards, and visualizations. A deep understanding of data architecture, analytical tools, and business processes is essential to support organizational goals and guide long-term initiatives.

 

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field required
  • 3–5 years of experience in a data analysis, business intelligence, or strategy-focused role
  • Demonstrated experience working with large datasets, performing data modeling, and developing analytical solutions to solve business problems
  • Prior experience supporting strategic initiatives, project planning, or operational analysis in a corporate environment
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Salesforce, Jira, Tableau
  • Advanced knowledge with Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros)
  • Understanding of statistical methods, forecasting, and data mining techniques
  • The ability to effectively communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, as necessary for effective job performance and workplace communication


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

Data Analysis & Insight Generation

  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support strategic business decisions
  • Conduct ROI analysis and cost-benefit evaluations for proposed initiatives and business strategies
  • Monitor key business metrics and flag anomalies or emerging issues requiring further analysis
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, concise reports and presentations for senior leadership

 

Cost Analysis & ROI Evaluation

  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses of projects, infrastructure builds, and property-specific initiatives
  • Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) for custom service models, expansion efforts, and enhancements to support underserved properties
  • Work with all departments to gather and evaluate the full cost of builds, including materials, labor, permitting, and operational overhead
  • Provide recommendations to leadership on resource allocation and prioritization based on financial performance and strategic value
  • Track the financial impact of service adoption and customer retention across different property types to guide planning and decision-making

 

Reporting & Visualization

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor performance metrics and KPIs
  • Create models and forecasts to support budgeting, resource allocation, and long-term planning
  • Support strategic planning efforts by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define analytical needs, gather requirements, and deliver data-driven solutions
  • Assist stakeholders in interpreting and applying data insights to business decisions

 

Data Integrity & Process Improvement

  • Assist in developing data collection processes and optimizing data quality and integrity
  • Stay current with industry trends, analytics tools, and best practices to continuously improve analytical capabilities
