Position: Sr. Data Analyst - 1099 Contract To Hire

The Senior Data Analyst will be part of the Monogram Health Analytics organization consisting of actuarial, underwriting, reporting, and medical economics team members. This team is focused on building a high-performance organization that is responsible for all financial, operational, and quality reporting for Monogram Health and its clients, as well as driving analytics discussions in support of our large growth initiatives. 

This position will play a crucial role in working closely with operational and strategic stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness and develop datasets and insights to answer business questions with the end goal of improving healthcare outcomes and reducing costs within a value-based framework. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop reports and analyses that support the company's mission of delivering high-quality, cost-effective care to polychronic members. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Operational Analytics.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Proven experience with Excel and SQL is required. Python preferred. 
  • Responsible for driving data analysis and modeling using advanced analytics techniques to derive and present insights from complex healthcare data sets.
  • Develop metrics and reports to monitor healthcare outcomes, quality measures, and financial performance related to value-based contracts.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand business gaps, questions, and hypotheses and develop insightful reports that drive key decision making within operations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing analytical processes and models, leveraging emerging technologies and methodologies.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA) in all analytical activities.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in data analytics and driving actionable insights for operations teams. Familiarity with health care data.
  • Proven expertise in data analysis and visualization tools like SQL, Python, R, Excel, Power BI, etc.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to synthesize complex data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Experience in healthcare, working with analytics engineering, SQL and PowerBI preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Athena architecture and related reporting a plus.
