We are seeking a Senior Vice President / Executive Director – Legal Documentation (Capital Markets) to lead a team of legal documentation specialists within our client’s Capital Markets division based in the US. In this senior leadership role, you will oversee the end-to-end negotiation process, drive consistent, high-quality delivery, and personally engage in complex, high-value negotiations with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the Documentation Team, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to timelines.
- Lead the negotiation of all Master Agreements (including ISDA/CSA – VM & IM, MRAs, GMRAs, MSLAs, GMSLAs, CDEAs).
- Negotiate SIFMA MTSCAs and other key agreements.
- Provide strategic direction and mentoring to junior and mid-level team members.
- Liaise with senior SG stakeholders to align legal documentation strategy with business goals.
- Oversee legal due diligence and regulatory adherence processes (including DF adherence).
- Maintain and enhance playbooks and negotiation frameworks.
Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in capital markets legal documentation, including leadership roles.
- Expert-level knowledge of Master Agreements and related documentation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional negotiation and client engagement experience

Salary:
- $180,000-$250,000 (based on experience)
- Work Model: Remote: New York business hours
