About the role
Location: Remote with travel within North Texas. Offices located in McKinney, Wichita Falls, and Stephenville with oversight of counties in this region.
The Regional Manager of Family Support Services will oversee the overall achievement
of the assigned region. This role is critical for driving regional success, ensuring
program quality, fostering community engagement, and supporting team performance.
The Regional Manager of FSS is responsible for comprehensive oversight, ensuring
best practices, providing necessary team resources, fostering strong community
awareness, and maintaining outstanding contract compliance for STARRY programs
within their assigned territories.
What you'll do
- Program Oversight & Quality Assurance:
- Conduct monthly in-person support visits to program sites.
- Ensure outstanding contract and agency compliance through continuous quality assurance activities, including case file reviews, direct monitoring of services during events, community activities, etc., review of client satisfaction surveys, monitoring performance data and report writing.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to performance standards and contract requirements for both FAYS and Fatherhood EFFECT programs in their assigned region.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all standards and compliance activities.
- Referral & Outreach Management:
- Develop and implement robust outreach and marketing strategies in collaboration with leadership in program and operational departments to build strong community partnerships in all assigned counties.
- Actively promote STARRY's mission and services within assigned communities through public speaking engagements and public relations efforts.
- Ensure consistent referral intake from all assigned counties by creating and nurturing community partnerships.
- Coordinate effectively with all school districts, churches, community centers, Community Resource Coordination Groups (CRCG), etc.... within the service area to establish MOU’s and space for services.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Provide direct supervision and support to Team Supervisors, covering all aspects of agency procedures and ensuring ethical and/or clinical compliance as set forth by the Clinical Director.
- Foster a high-performing and contract compliant team environment, utilizing best practices to provide high quality services to children and families.
- Act as a leadership model for Team Supervisors/Managers, consistently demonstrating strong leadership abilities and actively mentoring them to enhance their skills and address areas for growth.
- Strategic Planning & Resource Management:
- Manage regional budgets effectively through collaboration with the Senior Director.
- Ensures staffing structure is in line with contract and budgetary requirements while utilizing intern support to meet overall program goals, through collaboration with Senior Director.
- Lead program planning, event coordination, and implementation of initiatives.
- Identify service gaps within each county and collect relevant data needed to explore additional funding opportunities to support current funding and/or to expand services.
- Communication & Administration:
- Prepare and write comprehensive reports and correspondence.
- Attend all the required internal and external meetings and training.
- Utilize strong computer skills for organizing materials, narratives, and correspondence.
Qualifications
Education: Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field; relevant licensure preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of leadership and management experience in a mental health or social services setting.

Physical Requirements
· Ability to travel regularly to rural communities and to various offices located within STARRY service areas and travel to other agency offices for events/meetings.
· Willingness to work at community satellite and various STARRY office locations on a rotating basis every month.
