🚀 What You’ll Do:

  • Be the trusted HR advisor for leadership and team members throughout the employee lifecycle.

  • Guide employee relations with empathy and fairness — investigating concerns and helping resolve workplace conflicts.

  • Recommend organizational structures and staffing plans to help us grow smarter.

  • Shape company culture and performance by advising on development, engagement, and recognition strategies.

  • Ensure HR programs align with company goals — from compensation and benefits to talent management and retention.

  • Stay on top of HR best practices, compliance trends, and employment law to keep us future-ready and audit-proof.

  • Manage policies, processes, and projects — including exciting initiatives like M&A integration and employee surveys.

  • Lead with a people-first approach while staying laser-focused on business impact.

✅ What You Bring to the Table:

  • Proven experience in HR leadership — preferably 8+ years in HR, including regional/multi-site support.

  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices (local, state, and federal).

  • Ability to partner cross-functionally with leaders to drive strategic HR initiatives.

  • Expertise in organizational development, employee relations, and change management.

  • Experience with HRIS systems and a love of metrics, dashboards, and continuous improvement. Previous experience with Paycom is a PLUS

  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential matters.

🎓 Education & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field from a four-year college or university — or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR management responsibility with a strong focus on HR administration, policy development, strategic planning, and conflict resolution.

  • Ability to travel to our onsite practices including those located in Dayton, OH, Cleveland, OH, Lansdowne, VA, Manassas, VA and Chesapeake, VA

  • Preferred: SHRM-CP or HRCI PHR certification (or both — we love an overachiever!).
