Title: Product Engagement Manager

Reports To: Chief Product Officer
We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Product Engagement Manager to serve as the connective tissue between the product team, customer-facing teams, and our user community. This role is responsible for building and maintaining internal product documentation, supporting product marketing efforts, facilitating ongoing customer engagement, and managing inbound feature ideas and suggestions. You will play a key role in ensuring our product is clearly understood by internal teams, effectively promoted to potential customers, and continually improved based on user input.
1. Product Information Management (40%)
Own and maintain our internal product documentation site (Google Sites), ensuring up-to-date and accurate information about product initiatives, features, and functionality.
Develop clear, structured documentation that outlines:
The background of a product initiative and how the initiative fits into our company’s goals and mission
The problems the initiative solves
Implementation strategies for the initiative
Serve as the internal source of truth for product-related content that supports sales, success, and marketing teams.
2. Product Marketing Support (30%)
Collaborate with marketing and go-to-market teams on product-related content such as website updates, email campaigns, launch announcements, and webinars.
Coordinate with product managers to ensure accurate messaging and positioning of new features.
Help translate technical feature work into user-friendly value propositions and narratives.
Support the sales team with product information, data, customer testimonials, and other marketing content to address prospective customer concerns.
3. Product Office Hours & Customer Engagement (15%)
Organize and lead regular “Product Office Hours” to engage customers and internal users with new or complex features.
Partner with Faculty Success Managers (FSMs) to support ongoing adoption and gather qualitative feedback from users.
Own the process for product surveys to gather quantitative and qualitative information to relay back to pertinent teams.
Relay feature usage patterns and challenges back to the product team to inform improvements.
4. Idea Management & Community Feature Input (15%)
Manage user-facing feedback channels, including the ideas@ inbox and token exchange board.
Engage with users to clarify their needs, provide context on roadmap alignment, and communicate prioritization decisions.
Triage and frame ideas for the product team, ensuring clean intake into team backlogs and alignment with product strategy.
Develop a lightweight system for tracking, responding to, and closing the loop on idea submissions.
3+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, customer success, or a related field.
Exceptional communication and writing skills—able to distill complex technical concepts into clear, accessible information.
Experience managing internal documentation or knowledge bases.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and stakeholder needs.
A proactive mindset and a collaborative spirit—you love connecting dots across teams.
Familiarity with agile product development processes and tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
Experience in edtech, SaaS, or education-related industries.
Clear, reliable, proactive product documentation becomes the go-to source for internal and external-facing teams.
Customer-facing teams feel more empowered and better aligned with product updates.
Customer usage and feedback are more integrated into the product development lifecycle.
Feature requests are thoughtfully managed and contribute meaningfully to roadmap planning.
Annual Base Salary: $100,000-105,000
