The Presales Engineer is responsible for presenting sales solution demos and webinars to prospects and supporting the sales team in the lead discovery and qualification process. They may also be asked to represent RKL eSolutions at prospect tradeshows, RKL Industry Groups, and publisher events.

Participate in sales discovery process to identify and document current systems, business challenges, and opportunities for innovation and improvement
Collaborate with sales and consulting teams to design and configure a proof-of-concept demonstration environment around critical requirements outlined in Summary of Findings
Present proof-of-concept solution presentations to prospects and follow up regarding any open functional and technical questions
Provide pre sales support and share best practices across the team. Participate and provide input during services scoping and statement of work preparation
Facilitate a smooth transition from sales to consulting by attending project kick off meetings (internal and customer facing) and providing sufficient background about the customer and their requirements to consultants.
Assist with post sale customer care engagements as needed
Acquire and maintain necessary product certifications and sales methodology training to keep up to date with subsequent enhancements, as well as industry changes
Maintain on-going awareness regarding relevant add-on products that support customer requirements and compliment primary product offerings
Demonstrate excellent customer service
Develop and nurture relationships with prospects and Sage Account Executives

Education, Experience and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business Management or other related field
2+ years construction accounting experience – Controller, Accounting Manager or primary accountant role
