Position Overview

 

Index Analytics is seeking a Jr. Project Manager to support Government contracts for a remotely based multidisciplinary project team. The Jr. Project Manager will serve as a point of contact for on designated projects. The Jr. Project Manager assists in the planning, execution, and completion of projects, while working under the guidance of a senior project manager. They handle tasks such as scheduling, communication, and documentation, contributing to the overall project success. Their role often involves supporting the team, ensuring tasks are on track, and facilitating communication between different stakeholders. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Work closely with leadership (e.g. program directors and project managers) taking on delegated tasks and assisting with various project management activities. 
  • Help manage project tasks, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. 
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project timelines and schedules. 
  • Schedule meetings between team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties. 
  • Create, maintain, and manage the licenses for the program. Work with IT and Finance as needed to ensure a smooth transition and process.
  • Responsible for staff onboarding, offboarding, and oversight of the team roster.
  • Contributes to the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including scope statements, timelines, and status reports. 
  • Responsible for coordinating and facilitating meetings, ensuring effective communication and information flow, document and follow up on important actions and decisions.
  • Assist with engaging with stakeholders, keeping them informed, and managing their expectations. 
  • Assist in tracking project performance against established metrics and goals. 
  • Enthusiastically undertake project tasks such as preparing necessary presentation materials and providing administrative support.
  • Document activities and develop weekly and monthly documentation for client status meetings.

Qualifications

  • US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent related work experience
  • 4-years relevant work experience supporting cross functional development projects
  • Prior experience with CMS and/or Government contracts preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and multiple priorities is crucial. 
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills are necessary for meeting deadlines. 
  • Ability and confidence to learn new skills and acquire content knowledge quickly and independently.
  • Understanding of development methodologies including Scrum, SAFe and XP.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suites Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Atlassian tools Confluence and Jira.
