The Role

We’re seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our U.S. operations and help bring our mission and values to life across the employee experience. In this role, you’ll be a trusted advisor to leaders and employees — supporting growth, engagement, and performance across our diverse, multidisciplinary teams.

As part of our HR team, you’ll ensure our people have the tools, resources, and guidance they need to thrive — and you’ll play a key role in shaping the culture of respect, innovation, partnership, and accountability that defines Chronicle.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with leaders to align people strategies with business and project goals.

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and development to help employees grow and deliver exceptional results.

  • Build trusted relationships by guiding managers and employees through challenges with fairness and respect.

  • Champion engagement and recognition initiatives that foster collaboration and connection.

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. employment laws and streamline HR processes to improve efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience (at least 2 years as a business partner/generalist).

  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices.

  • Experience coaching leaders, managing employee relations, and driving people initiatives.

  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work across a dispersed, professional services environment.

  • SHRM-CP/PHR or related certification a plus.
