The Role: 

 

We are seeking a HR Operations & Systems Administrator to drive efficiency in our HR operational processes, ensuring everything runs smoothly, securely and efficiently. This role will play a critical part in HR administration, responsible for the maintenance of HR systems, data integrity, and supporting with HR compliance across the UK and US, while also contributing to advisor / partner efforts where required. 

 

The ideal candidate will have strong HR administration (including payroll) and operations experience within insurance or financial services, knowledge or working experience in Rippling HRIS, and a passion for process improvement. They will thrive in an organized, fast-moving environment and enjoy supporting key HR projects that enhance how we manage HR data and processes. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

HR Operations & Compliance: 

  • Oversee and administer the Rippling HR system (HRIS). 
  • Ensure HR data integrity, reporting accuracy, and compliance with UK and US regulations. 
  • Support payroll, benefits, onboarding and offboarding administration and processes. 
  • Help the team drive operational HR projects. 

 

Process Improvement & Strategic HR Projects: 

  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance HR operations, workflows, and data management. 
  • Help implement automation and technology-driven solutions to improve efficiency. 
  • Utilize data and analytics to track HR and recruitment metrics, informing strategic decision-making. 

 

Recruitment administration: 

  • Assist the Chief People Officer with scheduling interviews and the end-to-end recruitment process. 
  • Create offer letters and contracts for successful candidates. 
  • Maintain status tracking of candidates in the Pipeline.  

 

Experience & Skills: 

  • 3+ years of HR operations and administration experience, within reinsurance, insurance or financial services, ideally across both US and UK  
  • Experience using and managing Rippling HR system (HRIS), optimizing HR data management, payroll and ideally Recruitment
  • Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth (ideally start-up) environment with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
