Job Purpose:
- The HR Business Partner at NOVO BUILDING PRODUCTS is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The role serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent. The HR Business Partner assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, communicating proactively with the HR department and business management to develop integrated solutions. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of the business.
- Provide HR guidance and support to business units, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success, following up to ensure training objectives are met.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, with at least 2 years in a business partner capacity.
- Proven track record of implementing HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Experience in managing employee relations, performance management, and talent development.

- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze HR metrics and data to inform decision-making and drive business results.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex employee issues with discretion and professionalism.
