As a true third space for young families, Cloudbound parks will offer enriching, open-ended play for children alongside a clean, comfortable, and design-forward environment for caregivers.  

 

 

JOB SUMMARY: 

As we launch and rapidly expand across both owned and franchised locations, we are seeking a visionary, hands-on Head of Sales & Marketing to lead the launch and growth of the Cloudbound brand locally and nationally. The Head of Sales & Marketing will be a key member of the leadership team partnering closely with teams that also support Sky Zone such as operations and programming while developing new partnerships with childhood development experts.   

   

They will be responsible for GTM (go-to-market) lead generation resulting in significant membership growth by creating long-term loyalty through emotionally resonant, science-backed storytelling. Components of this foundation for launching are our founding membership campaign, optimizing referral flows and digital engagement (through agency partners), and building the brand and revenue engine for a first-of-its-kind experience. They will also be responsible for identifying local activation opportunities such as community partnerships and national marketing playbooks to support both owned and franchise locations through a scalable framework to support rapid expansion. This role requires both strategic vision and tactical execution—someone who can architect scalable systems while rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.  

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field  

  • 8+ years of sales, marketing, brand management, or experiential leadership experience, preferably in family entertainment, early childhood education, hospitality, fitness, or franchising  

  • Deep expertise in GTM strategies  

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% as needed for on-site brand launches, strategic planning sessions, and in-market support that often requires a hands-on presence during critical execution periods.  

  • Experience in launching new businesses from the ground up and scaling new brands; familiarity with franchise scalability or multi-unit environments is a plus  

  • Passionate about building joyful, meaningful experiences that foster community, connection, and discovery  

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills; comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment  

  • Exceptional leadership presence with the ability to inspire, influence, and lead by example.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

Brand & Experience Leadership 

  • Develop and execute marketing and brand strategies aligned with Cloudbound’s business goals, focusing on reaching target demographics and maximizing growth.  

  • Build upon and steward the Cloudbound brand across all touchpoints, ensuring brand consistency across visual design, messaging, tone of voice, and in-park experiences, including generation and maintenance of all creative collateral.  

  • Collaborate with agency teams to design activations, events, and enrichment programs that align with the brand and engage young children and their families.  

  • Work with agencies to develop and foster partnerships with family-focused businesses, preschools, parent groups, and local influencers to drive awareness and engagement.  

  • Partner with headquarters design, marketing, programming, operations, and executive leadership teams to ensure strategic alignment and relate campaigns with in-park activations and events.  

  • Collaborate with early childhood development experts to ensure all offerings and experiences are developmentally appropriate and differentiated in the market.  

   

Support Field Operations 

  • Communicate with franchise base to ensure quality and consistency across all locations, creating marketing and sales playbooks for future franchise expansion.  

  • Provide the field, both franchised and owned, with market and competitor analysis, focusing on market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.  

   

Campaign Development & Paid Media 

  • Work with digital agency of record to plan, develop, execute, and measure multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, local marketing, social media, email marketing, and SEO/SEM initiatives to develop loyalty and drive retention.  

  • Develop scalable pre- and post-opening campaigns for all locations.  

  • Manage brand and local advertising campaigns across a franchisee business model, monitoring KPI’s and making strategic adjustments to achieve company goals.  

   

Pre-Sales Management 

  • Work cross-functionally to create and maintain the Cloudbound Brand Launch Playbook to guide our Go-To-Market strategy by activating local marketing, community outreach, brand activations, and staff training.  

  • Own full-funnel marketing from awareness through conversion (paid, organic, local) and develop pre-sales promotions to set the foundation for growth before doors open.  

Market Research & Data Analysis 

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer preferences to proactively inform marketing and brand strategies.  

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities.  

  • Use data and CRM insights establish benchmarks and refine targeting, messaging, channel mix, and spend allocation.  

   

Budget Administration 

  • Manage and allocate the marketing and brand budget effectively, ensuring optimal ROI and alignment with business priorities.  

  • Manage both centralized and decentralized marketing budgets consistent with a franchisee environment.  

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • This position requires the ability to remain stationary working on a computer and communicating via phone and Teams for extended periods of time.  

  • This position requires the ability to travel and move around for extended periods of time during park visits, brand launch events, and on-site operational support.  

 

 

Compensation range is $150,000 - $200,000 plus bonus opportunity, based on qualifications, experience, and performance.  Full-time employees at CircusTrix enjoy a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage along with a 401k plan with company matching.  Eligibility for 401k is based on age and tenure requirements.
