A detail-oriented and analytical Finance Operations Analyst to be a key player on our finance team. This individual will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health of our company, ensuring operational efficiency, and providing the data-driven insights that guide our strategic decisions. You will be responsible for supporting the core financial functions of a dynamic and fast-growing global tech company.
This is primarily a US-Remote role but candidates should be located in the continental US and time zones.
About the Role:
As a Finance Operations Analyst, you will report to the Finance Manager and will::
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage day-to-day AP/AR processes, including processing vendor invoices, executing payments, generating customer invoices, and overseeing collections to ensure a healthy cash flow.
- Monthly Close & Reporting: Support the month-end and year-end closing of the books by preparing journal entries, reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
- Billing & Revenue Operations: Own the monthly billing cycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoicing for our services. Address and resolve any customer billing inquiries in a professional manner.
- Budgeting & Analysis: Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Track and analyze departmental spending against budget, reporting on variances to the leadership team.
- KPI & Performance Tracking: Maintain and improve various dashboards and reports such as financial, sales, pipeline activity dashboards to track key business KPIs. Provide analysis and insights to support leadership in making data-backed decisions.
- Business Operations Support: Collaborate cross-functionally to support various business operations tasks, identify opportunities for process improvement, and help implement scalable financial systems and controls.
What We’re Looking For:
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in a finance, accounting, or operations role.
- Ability to write and speak fluently in Korean.
- A proactive, "get-things-done" mentality to tackle a variety of operational tasks, including those outside of traditional finance.
- A strong desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Work experience in the technology sector (e.g., Cloud, SaaS, IT Services).
- Basic understanding of U.S. GAAP.
