Vichara is a Financial Services focused products and services firm headquartered in NY and building systems for some of the largest i-banks and hedge funds in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of Office 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
Manage and monitor email flow, including hybrid configurations, mail routing, spam filtering, and delivery troubleshooting.
Administer and support on-premises and Azure Active Directory, including replication, GPOs, OU structure, and hybrid sync.
Lead and implement security hardening initiatives for O365 and AD environments, including MFA, conditional access, and security baselines.
Proactively identify risks and performance bottlenecks; recommend and execute strategic improvements.
Document existing configurations, workflows, and best practices to ensure knowledge transfer.
Collaborate closely with internal IT and business stakeholders to minimize operational impact during the transition.
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years hands-on in Office 365 and AD in complex environments.
Proven track record in email flow design and troubleshooting across hybrid and cloud setups.
Expertise in O365 and AD security hardening, compliance, and identity management.
Strong understanding of PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
Experience in high-stakes, sensitive IT transitions where business continuity is critical.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to document and transfer knowledge effectively.
Prior experience at top-tier consulting firms or equivalent client-facing consulting roles preferred.
Compensation - $180,000 pa
