About Taiga:
Taiga is leading the charge in electric powersports. From the world’s first electric snowmobiles to the revolutionary Orca electric watercraft, we’re building the future of outdoor adventure—clean, quiet, and powerful. We're now looking to grow our presence in Florida, one of the most important marine markets in North America.
The Role:
We’re hiring a seasonal contract representative to lead on-the-ground demo and sales support for the Taiga Orca electric PWC in Florida. This is a hands-on, independent role, perfect for someone who lives and breathes life on the water
and enjoys connecting with people.
You’ll be transporting the Orca to key boating areas, running demos, educating riders, and helping us identify high-potential opportunities for exposure and sales. This role runs from now until November, with the possibility to extend or become a permanent employee. Taiga’s headquarters are in Montreal, Canada, so this will be a fully remote role in Florida.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person, on-water demos of the Taiga Orca at marinas, waterfront events, and one-on-one appointments
- Educate riders and prospects on the Orca’s features, performance, and electric advantages
- Identify and recommend ideal demo locations, events, and local groups (clubs, dealerships, rentals, influencers)
- Transport the Orca using a vehicle and trailer; manage launching, maintenance, and storage.
- Represent the Taiga brand professionally in the field, acting as a local ambassador
- Document leads, collect rider feedback, and support sales follow-ups
- Occasionally assist with photos/videos and light social content
Who You Are:
- Very comfortable operating PWCs and assisting others on the water
- Friendly, approachable, and confident speaking with both beginners and boating pros
- Organized, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal oversight
- Comfortable trailering and launching a watercraft solo
- Based in Florida and willing to travel across the state and adjacent states as needed (including weekends)
- Valid driver’s license and Florida Boater Safety Card
- Background in powersports or marine sales, rentals, tours, or customer service is a plus
- Local knowledge of boating hotspots (e.g. Tampa, Miami, Naples, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando)
Contract Details:
- Timing: Contract runs from now through November 2025, with potential to extend based on performance and demo opportunities
- Hours: approximately 40 hours per week
- Compensation: starting at $25 USD/ hour, depending on experience
