The role...

We are seeking a full-time Data Analyst who will work hand-in-hand with our Operations, Product Development, and Partner Success & Strategy teams. This is a dynamic, multifaceted, and challenging role. You will serve as a foundational member on our operations team, directly supporting our Chief Operating Officer. As we continue our high-growth trajectory, you will be a pivotal member in driving the momentum and velocity behind our company's growth — excited yet?!

What you get to do...

• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities across student and partner success
• Build dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics for stakeholders across operations, product development, partner success, and student success
• Ensure a high-level of data integrity, quality, and security across all internal analytical processes and partner-facing reporting
• Synthesize findings and communicate actionable recommendations for improving the Knack Platform, internal procedures, and overall business strategy
• Collaborate with the COO to support the adoption of a data-driven culture across the organization
• Support the development and creation of monthly reports to support financial projections and strategic decisions

This may be for you if...

• You have worked in data analysis for 3+ years and have experience owning data initiatives
• You are proficient with both technical data analysis (e.g., SQL, Python, R, etc.) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Metabase, Tableau, etc…)
• You believe in the power of data to tell meaningful stories and unlock powerful opportunities
• You can translate complex analysis into clear insights and strategic recommendations
• You possess excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• You are a self-starter, who proactively works to identify potential issues before they become serious problems
• You know Excel like the back of your hand and understand how to leverage formulas, pivot tables, and visualization tools
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Analysis, Mathematics, or a related field

Extra Credit!

• You have direct experience within the education technology sector
• You have a personal connection to our mission of modernizing the way students connect with and support each other
• You are located in the Eastern or Central timezones and/or you have a willingness to complete most of your work during the hours of 9am ET and 5pm ET
