Essential Functions:
Drives the development of the comprehensive digital product strategy spanning all core operations
Directs and implements the execution of the digital product strategy and vision to ensure consistent implementation across the enterprise, including serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders and executives
Translates user needs and emerging technology into effective product strategies and multi-year roadmaps for all digital products while balancing digital transformation aspirations and business needs
Assesses organizational and customer digital product needs and ensures product strategies are aligned with the company's overall business objectives
Communicates the vision for digital products, ensuring alignment with organization needs and customer expectations
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive product development from concept to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery
Leads the prioritization process with business leaders, stakeholders, and technology leadership to ensure resources are aligned to highest value business outcomes
Serves as the primary Digital Product Management team expert and represents DPM needs on enterprise-wide special initiatives or multiyear strategic planning initiatives as appropriate
Establishes and maintains key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of all digital products
Establishes and maintains a digital product insights framework that pulls together product performance data and enables quick-turnaround product enhancements
Collects and summarizes customer and product data collected directly or indirectly through tools such as user forums, data analytics platforms, business intelligence tools, and other systems used in the organization
Analyzes product performance and customer experience data to identify areas for improvement and ensure benefits realization
Collaborates with team members to establish performance goals and monitor status, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching
Manages budgeted resources by anticipating expenditures, accurately forecasting resource needs/costs and properly accounting for expenses to meet requirements and achieve fiscal responsibility
Serves as a trusted partner to senior leadership, acting as a digital product evangelist, generating excitement about our digital products and their features
Stays abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and innovation, translating them to actionable product features and enhancements
Conducts market research and gathers customer insights to identify new opportunities and enhance existing products
Integrates process management and improvement opportunities into the digital product management space to ensure evolution of digital products and applications across the enterprise
Education & Experience:
The education and experience below are required for the job unless labelled as preferred:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in insurance, business, technology, logistics or related field
Ten years of product management or related experience in progressively responsible roles
Insurance, technology, and digital product designations, such as CPCU or CDPM, preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Excellent knowledge of property and casualty insurance coverage options, terminology, and trends
Excellent knowledge in the development and implementation of product roadmaps, total cost of ownership, and process management practices
Ability to explore new and different processes, services, technologies, and partnerships to enhance EMC’s business
Exceptional knowledge of strategic planning and company products and services
Excellent ability to translate technical ideas into more general terms for business customers
Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making skills
Excellent understanding of customer experience trends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Occasional travel; a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle report per company standards will be required if traveling
The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either the $138,330 - $198,267 range or $152,515 - $218,599 range. A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
