We’re seeking an Assistant Account Manager with strong communication skills for our Yacht Brokerage division. This individual will support our Account Management team and liaise between Underwriters and retail Agents.
Your Impact:
Respond to emails and phone calls to assist agents and underwriters
Prepare, review and issue new business, renewal binders and policy changes within set authority
Assure that electronic files are maintained per guidelines
Maintain working knowledge of procedures and guidelines for performing daily duties, reports and supporting relationships with agents and underwriters
Back up for other positions within the department during high volume or absences
Build and maintain working relationships with peers and other professionals across organizational lines; ability to work effectively independently and within a collaborative team environment
Successful Candidates Will Have:
1-2 years related experience in the P&C insurance industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
Technological/PC competence for computer/online work systems/programs including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe with ability to quickly learn proprietary software
Capacity to multi-task efficiently and balance seasonal business spikes
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to apply critical thinking/problem solving to identify key issues with recommended resolutions
Strong organization and time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload

At One80 Intermediaries, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including, for eligible employees, medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings. Also, for eligible employees, the Company offers 10 to 20 vacation days depending on experience and generally offers 11 paid holidays and 5 half days, depending on the calendar year. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $17.79 - $21.64 per hour plus bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
