This position works as part of the Business Solutions Commercialization (BPC) team to drive cross-functional initiatives designed to improve Cloudera’s strategic goals and growth targets. Working in a fast-paced environment, they will be integral to providing technical direction to grow and scale Cloudera’s business solutions in a way that integrates and enhances Cloudera's lines of business including: Product, Marketing, Enablement, Channels/Alliances, Value & Industry and field teams. 

The Architect will lead cross-functional coordination to deliver on the BSC strategy, ensuring that all releases and artifacts align with Cloudera’s Product Solutions Roadmap. This role requires a strong customer-facing presence, as the Architect will actively engage with clients to translate technical capabilities into impactful, solution-driven conversations.

As an AI and Data Business Architect , you will:

• Be a Technical Lead for product Solutions

• 2-5 years of professional experience, ideally in consultative, strategic, and analytical customer-facing roles. Ideal candidates will have the ability to navigate between technical and business worlds.

• Understanding of one or more strategic industries: Financial Services, Manufacturing (including Automotive) and Telco (CMT)

• Produce and maintain business oriented, result-driven use cases with attached reference architectures and reusable assets to support the BSC group

• Influences requirements and design to achieve customer's business goals through modern data architecture implementations. 

• Provides input as a global level on product direction

• Advises and actively contributes to the processes for prioritization, design, customer development and launch of new products, solutions and features.

• Identify and escalate enterprise-wide exposure to mitigate risk and work with the senior team to mitigate it.

• Work with product, marketing and field leaders and other key stakeholders to understand effort and priority of development initiatives.

We're excited about you if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Business Management, Management Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience.

• You have 5+ years of experience in consulting, product operations, product strategy, product management, or an operational role where you worked closely with product teams.

• Deep experience with AI and the modern data architectures that feed it

• Ability to understand big data & AI use-cases, and recommend standard design patterns commonly used in deployments

• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, adapt to new environments, and function within a team

• Experience with project delivery methodologies and tools

You may also have:

• MBA or Masters in a technical field is a plus

• Experience working product marketing and industry marketing is a plus

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced and changing environment
