Collaborate with Creative Director on seasonal line plans, translating creative ideas into effective and compelling garments for women.
- Manage the design process from inception to final delivery of assets to production team
- Work within deadlines without compromising quality of deliverables
- Utilize best and worst sellers reports to influence the design process
- Think with innovation to consistently design fresh concepts that are captivating and relevant within the competitive landscape
Requirements
- 5+ years of apparel design experience required
- Previous women's apparel design required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Portfolio that showcases a wide variety of design direction
- Candidates will not be considered without including a portfolio
Additional Skills & Competencies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and collaboratively
- Versatile, out-of-the-box thinker
- Able to design for a wide variety of audiences
- Organized, detail oriented, capable of managing time effectively
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Ilustrator
- Experience with In Design preferred
This is a contract role - hours based on need, typically 5 hours per week, depending on the time of season.
