The VP Sales holds a critical leadership position responsible for revenue growth and market penetration of the Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management). This individual will manage a sales team, shape go-to-market strategies, and drive execution across direct and partner-led opportunities. This role requires deep experience selling Oracle EPM solutions and related services within technology consulting, professional services and/or enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored for Oracle EPM, encompassing new business development, client expansion, and customer success alignment.
  • Lead and grow a high-performance sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Oracle BU CRO to refine sales methodologies, optimize KPIs, and elevate overall sales effectiveness.
  • Provide sales forecasts and performance updates to executive leadership and contribute to the BU’s annual planning process.
  • Expand revenue streams by identifying new market segments, customer profiles, and strategic acquisition opportunities.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic alliances and Oracle partnerships to strengthen co-sell motions and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with solution leaders to ensure offerings align with market demand and drive value-based positioning.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and customer needs to inform revenue strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Champion a customer-centric sales approach that emphasizes value realization, retention, and growth.
  • Stay informed of Oracle EPM product innovations and emerging best practices in technology sales.

 

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive sales experience in technology consulting, with 5+ years leading sales teams.
  • Direct experience selling Oracle EPM solutions, products, or services.
  • Strong relationships within the Oracle EPM partner and sales ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling revenue and hitting growth targets in a consulting/services context.
  • Proven ability to build and lead effective sales and business development teams.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to align market opportunities to enterprise sales plans.
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Analytical, data-driven approach to sales planning and performance management.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise sales processes and solution selling methodologies.

 

Skill Requirements:

  • Strategic Planning: Identify key Oracle EPM trends, whitespace, and demand drivers; translate insights into executable plans.
  • Sales Strategy: Drive go-to-market planning for sales, leveraging direct sales, ecosystem plays, and strategic partnerships.
  • Customer-Centric Selling: Align Argano’s capabilities with client business outcomes; build trusted advisor relationships.
  • Leadership: Inspire, mentor, and align sales teams to exceed growth expectations and deliver against KPIs.
  • Sales Operations: Improve pipeline velocity, forecasting, and performance through best-in-class sales processes and tools.
