Nature and Scope
The Senior Content Developer/SME will be responsible for creating, editing, maintaining, delivering, and updating Dalton Education’s intellectual property for the CFP® certification examination, education programs, review programs, and all other related programs as assigned.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Content and Course Development
- Develop, execute, and maintain content updates and schedules aligned with CFP Board requirements
- Create annual and quarterly planning calendars for curriculum revisions, content development, and course development
- Coordinate with staff and stakeholders to prioritize content development and update needs
- Manage content and course lifecycles regarding new regulatory or CFP Board requirements
- Plan, schedule, and execute course and content releases to minimize disruption to ongoing programs
- Manage, design, develop, and update slides, quizzes, exams, cases, booklets, assessments, media assets, delivery tools, delivery systems, and systems all other materials used in Dalton Education
- Create and/or coordinate the development of new education content as required
- Support all other learning or education documentation, methods, and processes assigned
- Assemble all content into course offerings as appropriate
- Complete all other duties as assigned
Learning Management System (LMS) Ownership
- Manage and update slides, quizzes, exams, cases, and other materials used in education programs
- Create and/or coordinate the development of new education content as required
- Update education, review, and all Dalton Education booklets, slides, questions, content, media assets, audio assets, and other materials for all programs
- Correspond and coordinate with faculty team and members to resolve student and faculty inquiries related to the LMS or related technology for learning delivery
- Consult with Subject Matter Experts to ensure accuracy of the content
- Build and design content into the CMS/LMS as assigned
- Collaborate cross-functionally across the organization for CMS/LMS optimization
- Complete other duties as assigned
Student and Faculty Support
- Promptly respond and resolve student and/or faculty inquiries
- Coordinate and obtain student and faculty feedback on content, programs, and courses
- Support student success programs and initiatives
- Provide support for LMS-related student and faculty issues
- Monitor student engagement metrics and intervene when necessary
- Complete all other duties as assigned
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously update knowledge contemporaneous with industry and law changes
- Attend the CFP Board and other meetings or conferences related to and relevant for Dalton Education
