About the Role
We are hiring a Sales Engineer to join our growing team focused on delivering engineered solutions that optimize performance in industrial and commercial systems. As the territory manager for Southeast Minnesota, you'll drive 80% new business development and manage 20% existing client relationships.
This role is ideal for a technical professional with sales drive who thrives in a field-based role and wants long-term career growth—potential advancement includes Regional Manager or Sales Manager tracks as the company continues to grow 10–12% annually.

What You’ll Do
- Own and grow a defined territory in Southeast Minnesota
- Develop new customer relationships (80%) and support existing clients (20%)
- Conduct on-site client meetings, providing technical consultation and engineered solutions
- Apply your knowledge in water systems, fluid processes, automation, and chemistry
- Travel extensively within your region (expect 3+ hours of driving daily)
- Collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure client success
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals
RequirementsWhat We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Environmental preferred)
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial or commercial markets
- Proven success in selling industrial systems, water treatment, or manufacturing solutions
- Solid foundation in mechanical systems, chemistry, automation, and system design
- Self-motivated, professional, and team-oriented with a strong customer focus
- Strong track record of customer retention, revenue generation, and technical sales
- Must live within 55 minutes of Rochester, MN
- Valid U.S. work authorization (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder only)
