REMOTE High Voltage Senior Drafter/Designer

EGS is seeking a REMOTE (with travel) High Voltage Electrical Drafter/Designer with a minimum of 5-8 years' experience.  This position will  provide support to the Site Power operations and engineering staff by preparing high voltage electrical and wiring drawings for site power comprised of transmission, substation, and distribution elements up to 138 kV. Experience will include Electrical design, power transmission and distribution experience, with substations or the drawing design/construction of distribution lines. High voltage drafting experience, 4860V and up desired.  Support to include routine layouts, detailed drawings, assembly drawings, sketches and diagrams and all views and dimensions necessary for construction. Supports engineers and designers of all disciplines through a variety of tasks including proposal drawings, red marks, and sketches. Additional support will include locating, updating, and developing new drawings or updating existing drawings to address a backlog in configuration management needs.

 

This work will be supporting the  Nevada National Security Site, Mercury NV (located 65 miles northwest of Las Vegas) and will require quarterly travel to the NNSS, and additional travel as needed. Work Schedule is 4-10's.  This is a full-time REMOTE contract position and comes with TOP pay and full benefits.  Due to the nature of the work, all candidates MUST be US Citizens.
