About Sennos Sennos revolutionizes craft brewing with AI-powered fermentation monitoring. Our BrewIQ platform transforms sensor data into actionable insights, helping brewers optimize quality, consistency, and efficiency.
The Role Lead product development for our BrewIQ platform across web, mobile, and cloud services. You'll define the digital experience that turns complex fermentation data into valuable insights for brewers—from craft operations to regional producers. This role blends user empathy, technical fluency, and brewing industry knowledge to deliver features that consistently enhance platform value. The position allows for remote work and will require occasional travel to the home office in Durham, North Carolina or other locations.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy: Partner with leadership to define platform roadmap and evaluate emerging technologies
User Research: Conduct brewery visits and interviews to understand Head Brewers, Cellar Operators, and Quality Managers
Backlog Management: Create detailed user stories with acceptance criteria and maintain prioritized feature backlogs
AI Integration: Leverage AI tools for requirements gathering and incorporate ML capabilities into brewing analytics
Delivery Leadership: Lead agile ceremonies and collaborate with engineering to solve scope and resource challenges
Customer Success: Demo new features, support go-to-market efforts, and track adoption metrics
What You Bring
Required:
5+ years product owner / management, or analyst experience with SaaS or IoT platforms
Strong agile methodology and multi-platform delivery background
Excellent technical writing and stakeholder communication skills
Data analysis skills with experience setting KPIs and building dashboards
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must have a valid passport or real-ID and the ability to travel within the US
Preferred:
Brewing, fermentation, or bioprocessing industry knowledge
Familiarity with brewing metrics (Plato, specific gravity, dissolved oxygen, etc.)
IoT or sensor-based monitoring systems experience
Experience using LLMs for user story generation, test cases, and workflow prototyping
Prompt engineering techniques and AI/ML applications knowledge
Background in chemistry or fermentation science
Experience with modern product tools (Jira, Figma, analytics platforms)
Data visualization best practices for operational environments
Experience in a rapidly changing start-up environment
