No matter who you are, Pax8 is a place you can call home. We know there’s no such thing as a “perfect" candidate, so we don’t look for the right "fit" – instead, we look for the add. We encourage you to apply for a role at Pax8 even if you don’t meet 100% of the bullet points. We believe in cultivating an environment with a diversity of perspectives, in hopes that we can all thrive in an inclusive environment.
We are only as great as our people. And we have great people all over the world. No matter where you live and work, you’re a part of the Pax8 team. This means embracing hybrid- and remote-work whenever possible.
At Pax8, we’re looking for a Product Manager – DevOps to lead the charge in transforming how our internal developer teams build, deploy, and scale infrastructure. This is not your typical product role—it’s about owning the roadmap for internal tooling, decomposing epics into actionable stories, and driving outcomes that improve developer experience and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Do
- Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for DevOps, focusing on internal tools and infrastructure.
- Treat internal tooling as a product—cultivating roadmaps, metrics, and outcomes that matter.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to decompose epics into stories and manage a dynamic backlog.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure smooth execution across DevOps squads.
- Guide trade-off decisions and track progress using KPIs and OKRs.
- Stay ahead of trends in platform engineering and DevOps, with an AI-first mindset.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with engineering teams, balancing technical depth with strategic clarity.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of product management experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or developer tooling.
- 2+ years of developer experience.
- Exposure to AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Helm, Argo CD.
- Strong understanding of developer pain points across the SDLC.
- Experience managing backlogs, writing/refining stories, and working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for action.
- Data-driven mindset with a focus on ROI and business value.
- Familiarity with AI tools for product management and platform engineering.

Compensation:
