In this role, you will support attorneys and legal staff by reviewing court documents, communicating with courts and opposing counsel, and maintaining up-to-date records within our CRM and case management systems. You’ll handle a steady volume of administrative and legal correspondence while ensuring accuracy and consistency in every task. Responsibilities
· Review legal documents including Summons & Complaints, Motions, Discovery, and Settlement Agreements for accuracy and completeness.
· Monitor and manage a high volume of inbound emails from courts, clients, and attorneys.
· Communicate professionally with opposing counsel and court clerks to verify lawsuit statuses and details.
· Utilize and update case management and CRM software systems with accurate and timely case data.
· Track deadlines, follow up on pending tasks, and maintain up-to-date lawsuit information.
· Navigate court websites and dockets to extract relevant case data.
· Maintain digital organization of legal documents and communication records.
· Assist attorneys with administrative tasks related to legal proceedings.
· Process repetitive tasks with precision and consistency, ensuring no steps are overlooked in document handling and system updates.
· Identify discrepancies or inconsistencies in court filings, correspondence, or case records, escalating potential issues when necessary.
· Interpret and categorize various forms of legal communication to ensure correct routing, documentation, and follow-up actions.
Qualifications
Required
· Paralegal certification or 2+ years of relevant legal assistant/paralegal experience.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
· Demonstrated experience handling high volumes of documentation in a digital environment.
· Familiarity with legal terminology and court procedures.
· Experience navigating court websites and understanding docket entries.
· Proficiency in email communication and professional phone demeanor.
· Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
· Experience in debt resolution, consumer protection, or civil litigation.
· Proficient in multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment
· Above average skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook and general knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Excel
· Experience using Case Management software
· Comfortable with ambiguity and evolving practices

Benefits
Job Type: Full-time (Non-Exempt)
Pay: $16.00 per hour ($17.00 per hour if Spanish bi-lingual)
Schedule - Monday thru Friday - 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST
