We’re looking for a senior Fullstack Engineer with a DevOps mindset to deliver cohesive, user-focused features across the entire software stack. In this role, you’ll operate at the intersection of frontend, backend, API integration, and deployment infrastructure, ensuring that systems are seamlessly connected, scalable, and production-ready. You’ll work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to design, build, and support full-stack features - from UI to database - while also owning the DevOps workflows that ensure safe, rapid releases.
You’ll play a pivotal role in helping the team build scalable systems, drive technical excellence, and align engineering output with product outcomes. As the team continues to scale, the scope of this role will expand - creating clear opportunities to build and lead your own team. You’ll also have the chance to grow into senior leadership positions across the Development team with a progression path tailored to your strengths and ambitions.
Fullstack Feature Delivery
- Build and integrate frontend components (React / React Native) and backend logic (Grails / Python) for cohesive user experiences
- Connect frontend interfaces with backend APIs, ensuring data flows and state management are clean and robust
- Translate product and design requirements into reliable, scalable, and maintainable code
- Develop solutions that span user interaction, business logic, database access, and third-party integrations
DevOps & Delivery Enablement
- Manage and evolve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tooling to support fast, stable deployments
- Own release automation, rollback procedures, and environment configuration for both staging and production
- Monitor system health using observability tooling and resolve performance or infrastructure issues proactively
- Collaborate on infrastructure decisions using AWS (e.g., EC2, RDS, S3) and IaaC principles
System Integration & Optimization
- Bridge integration gaps across frontend, backend, and external APIs
- Identify performance bottlenecks or architectural misalignments and lead refactorings as needed
- Ensure end-to-end quality through integration testing, logging, and real-time monitoring
- Maintain consistent, secure, and efficient communication patterns across services
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Work closely with other engineers (specialists and generalists) to ensure cohesive delivery across the Squad
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and team-level planning
- Contribute to shared knowledge via documentation, pairing, and mentoring
- 5+ years of experience delivering production-grade software across frontend and backend stacks
- Proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS as well as Python and/or Grails (or similar JVM frameworks)
- Comfortable working across domains (UI, APIs, infrastructure, integrations)
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tooling and best practices (CI/CD, Docker, AWS, observability)
- Strong architectural thinking—can identify trade-offs, propose scalable patterns, and guide implementation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills—you think in systems, not silos
- Fluency in English
