JOB SUMMARY

The role of a Training Consultant at Argano 4 Microsoft is to bridge the gap between the technical expertise of Argano and the functional, working needs of our clients. Throughout the lifespan of a project, training consultants plan for training, develop custom training content, and deliver training to users within the context of Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SC)

Planning for training includes consulting on industry best practices, making informed training recommendations, and developing the best training strategy for the client. Consultants will need to be able to evaluate training needs, have conversations with clients in various industries, and be flexible to modify training plans as required.

The key component of this role will be to develop custom D365 F&SC training materials, with a primary focus on Finance, for each client’s customized solution and then to train client trainers or end users with the materials created. This involves close work and knowledge transfer with functional and technical consultants on the project to understand the customizations that have been made to the standard D365 F&SC platform. Training deliverables are then made for the client and often include instructor PowerPoint slide decks, classroom labs for hands-on practice, quick reference guides, competency test questions, and/or the creation of training videos to be used in clients’ Learning Management Systems (LMS).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and deliver customized D365 F&SC software training on topics primarily related to finance functionality around General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Expense Management, and/or Tax.
  • Occasionally this role may also require supporting training development and delivery on other D365 F&SC topics around supply chain management and projects.
  • Develop custom training materials and train client trainers or users with the materials we have created.
  • Collaborate closely with functional and technical consultants to understand the customizations made to the F&SC platform.
  • Deliver training sessions both in-person and virtually.

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, Instructional Design, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: We are looking for candidates who are knowledgeable about Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SC), with a primary focus on finance. The D365 trainer should have an aptitude for creating polished documentation and a temperament for patiently teaching others. Candidates should have an innate desire to learn new software processes and then take their knowledge to help others learn through exceptional documentation and training delivery. SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Technical aptitude and knowledge of topics related to the Finance modules within Microsoft Dynamics 365. 
  • Working knowledge of other topics in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Applications suite, such as Supply Chain Management, Power BI, Sales, Customer Engagement, Customer Insights, Customer Service, Field Service, Dynamics System Administration, or the ability to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Strong presentation skills for software training.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language and deliver information clearly and logically.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Active listening and empathy skills.

Other desired attributes:

  • Experience with finance administration within large-scale deployments of ERP software solutions, preferably Dynamics 365 F&SC.
  • Ability to adhere to tight deadlines and effectively prioritize multiple requests.
