About the Role 

EPIARX Diagnostics is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who can do more than knock on doors—you open them, build lasting relationships, and create a strong referral network. 


In this role, you’ll connect with hospitals, oncology and dermatology practices, funeral homes, and law firms, educating them about our specialized services. You’ll be the face of EPIARX in the community, ensuring that when families and professionals need answers, they know who to trust.

What You’ll Do 

  • Build and maintain referral partnerships with: 
  • Hospitals and hospital administrators 
  • Oncology and dermatology practices 
  • Funeral homes and funeral directors 
  • Medical malpractice and plaintiff law firms 
  • Educate referral partners on EPIARX’s services and value 
  • Conduct regular in-person outreach, networking, and event attendance 
  • Track all outreach in CRM and maintain accurate records 
  • Provide reports on outreach volume, referrals, and pipeline progress 
  • Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure a seamless experience 
Requirements

What You Bring 

  • 3-5+ years of B2B business development, sales, or outreach experience (healthcare or related field preferred) 
  • CRM expertise (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) 
  • Excellent communication skills with high emotional intelligence 
  • A proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets 
  • Self-motivation, goal orientation, and the ability to work independently 
  • Professional presence and the ability to interact confidently with clinicians, administrators, and funeral industry professionals 
  • Familiarity with or interest in molecular diagnostics, autopsy pathology, or dermatopathology (a plus) 

How We Measure Success 

  • Number of new referral relationships created and nurtured 
  • Growth in referrals and revenue generated from outreach 
  • Quality and timeliness of CRM reporting and follow-up activity 
  • Event attendance and post-event engagement 

Compensation 

  • Base Salary: $40,000 – $80,000/year (depending on experience) plus performance bonuses
